Announcing the return of the SOBR Networking & Professional Development Dinner

We had to take a break last year due to the virus that shall not be named, so we are ecstatic to announce that SOBR will once again be hosting our Networking and Professional Development Dinner!

If you have been part of our community for a little while now, you may recall this event – from 2019 and before! Traditionally held in Melbourne, the SOBR dinner gives our  members a chance to network with academic leaders, sponsors and other brain researcher students.

The 2021 Dinner is happening on Friday 6 August, commencing at 6pm, at the Melbourne Town Hall.

This year’s dinner will be centred around the theme of Science in a Post Covid World. We will be hearing a wonderful keynote from Professor Susan Rossel, as well as a discussion from an expert panel including Professor Jayashri Kulkarni AMDr Tamsyn Van RheenenDr Christopher Langmead and Dr Bryan LeawLimited early bird tickets are on sale now, with a discounted price all inclusive of a two course meal, drinks, and most importantly a chance to hear from leaders in Victorian brain research, as well as meet other SOBR members.
