An evening of networking, discussion and debate on brain research
The Plasticity of Neuroscience in the Digital Age
Delineating the influence of environmental factors on brain function is a common theme to nearly every branch of neuroscience. But what is rarely discussed – and perhaps equally as interesting – is the influence of such factors on the field of neuroscience itself. One environmental factor with particular relevance in 2019 is the advancement of Digital Technology. We ask our guests to reflect on the way digital technology has shaped neuroscience, be it through the data we are now able to generate, or the way in which we work with virtual processes, systems and environments. Aided by our Keynote Speaker and Panel, this event will unpack the future possibilities afforded by technological innovation, while taking into consideration the ethical challenges we may encounter along the way.
